Do you have a million passions?

When you start following your heart, you uncover new and more exciting passions daily.  You constantly learn and start getting a glimpse of what you are called to do.  Everything is exciting!  The problem is that you can’t physically do everything.  Sooner or later, hopefully before you burn out, you  to need to focus your energies.

Where do you focus?

If you narrow your focus are you going to get fewer clients?  How do you make a living doing what you love? Do you need to learn how to market and use Twitter?  How will the people that need you find you?  How do you get past your fears of putting your real self out in the world?  And suppose what you really want is to do the same thing as someone who you think is better known than you are?  Holy inferiority complex!

Narrowing in on your Niche builds a solid foundation for your solo-business

I’ve been where you are now and I know for certain that the key to building an amazing solo business is:

• clarifying your WHY - your soul’s purpose for your biz;
• figuring out your WHAT- the services or products you are inspired to offer – in the way that you want to offer them, that also meet your clients’ needs and
• placing  strategies in place to help you sidestep the fears and doubts that WILL appear.

You can create a business that you love aligned with your passions that has your particular and unique  flavor.  In fact I believe that the only way that your solo business can thrive is for it to reflect YOU, quirks and warts included!

Stop focusing on the HOW!

Most new solo entrepreneurs spend so much time trying to figure out how they are going to market, get clients, make money, design and follow a business plan that they end up disconnected from the passion that they had when they began.  They lose touch with their intrinsic  motivation – to create fun work that makes a difference.  Amazingly, once you are clear on what you are doing and why you are doing it, the how shows up.  Call it synchronicity, luck, planned happenstance.  This has been documented over and over and over again in career development and management literature as well as in writings from all spiritual traditions.

I’m not saying there is no value in learning how to market your services.  There is.  But first you need to know what you are marketing.  You need to strengthen the connection between your heart and your business.

The  Narrow-In on Your Niche Program components:

1.  5 pre-class 30 minute content rich recordings.  You’ll get the information you need to learn in order to narrow-in on your niche.  You’ll have a new lesson every week and pre-class work to do before each live class.

2.  5 live coaching calls of 90 minutes each, on 5 consecutive weeks.  On the live coaching calls you will get individual attention.  You will apply what you are learning to your specific situation.  You will identify what your blockages are and design personalized strategies to get you unstuck.  You’ll get inspired by listening to others get coached.  You’ll stop feel like you are doing this all alone.

These classes are recorded so if you have to miss a class, you can download the recording.

3.  Worksheets and personalized homework between classes to keep you on-track.  I’ll give you personalized homework when you are coached on the call AND you’ll get worksheets to complete prior to each live call.

The Classes

 

  Class One:  Narrow-in on Your Authentic Niche

In this class you will learn what an authentic niche really is; evaluate the pros and cons of having a niche; and learn why and how your fear and resistance WILL surface as soon as you stumble upon your authentic niche.

 

Class Two:  The Niche Finding Process

Learn the ten step Niche-Finding Process and get all the tools and worksheets – including some brand new ones – I’ve created, that will lead you to your authentic niche – where your biggest passions meet the world’s biggest needs.  You will identify your “why” or soul’s purpose and your “what” or what you love to do.

 

 

Class Three:  Translating your Passions into What People Need

In this class you’ll learn how to translate your passions into the language of your potential clients.  This class is about getting concrete; figuring out what people need and how you can serve them.  You’ll learn how to identify their unmet needs.  You’ll also learn the surprising role of play throughout this process.

 

Class Four:   Focus on Fear

In this class you will become aware of how you feel fear and how to listen to its message.  You’ll design your own Fear-Busting Plan using concrete strategies.  You’ll get more practice in listening to your body and intuition and you’ll learn how to sidestep your lizard fears and do it anyway!

Class Five:  Ideas, Fun, Ideas!

This final class is all about fun!  You will brainstorm and get support and ideas from everyone in the group about what your next steps are and how to move forward!  You’ll complete your Niche Summary and share it in an Idea Party!  Based on brilliant Barbara Sher’s work, this last class will leave you motivated and clearer about what’s next!
